Backyard Sauna

The owners of this St. Paul lot wanted to maximize the use of their compact yard space and had always wanted a sauna. They goal was something simple enough that they could build themselves while still having a level of detail that would offer visual interest. The modern outdoor structure was nestled into the backyard facing back to the house. The location provides additional privacy from the alley beyond while also creating more definition to the yard space. The simple form is accentuated with wood accents and trim details.
