Attic Master Suite

This older St. Paul home had plenty of underutilized space in the attic. The existing attic space was converted to an owner’s suite with a bedroom, bathroom, and studio space. Every inch of the space was maximized with built-in cabinetry and storage spaces in the lower ceiling areas. The studio desk and bed were built in to fit perfectly in the space.

The existing chimney was left exposed with the brick tones blending nicely with the oak woodwork and cork flooring. The ceilings were vaulted to increase the volume of the space. New skylights and transom windows were incorporated to maximize daylight and ventilation.
